Meet Emilie

A French heart, a London home, a life re-imagined.

Emilie Harrison is the founder of Elumi Yoga, a retreat and wellbeing community created for women who want to reconnect with themselves through movement, rest and shared experiences.

01 · A French beginning

A French beginning and a London career.

Emilie grew up in France and later moved to London for her career, spending many years building a life in the corporate world of deadlines, responsibilities and expectations.

From the outside, she appeared to have achieved everything she had worked towards. Quietly though, she felt an increasing need for more space, balance and meaning.

02 · Discovering yoga

Finding calm on the mat.

Yoga initially became a way for Emilie to step away from work and reconnect with her body. She was drawn not only to the physical practice but also to the calmness, presence and emotional clarity it created.

03 · A different direction

Choosing to redefine success.

In time, Emilie stepped away from her corporate career. Not as a rejection of ambition or professional women — but as a decision to redefine success and design a life with more intention.

04 · Creating Elumi Yoga

Bringing women together.

Emilie created Elumi Yoga to bring women together in beautiful environments where they can feel comfortable, supported and free from pressure. Her experiences are particularly suited to women in their forties and beyond, though adult women of all ages and experience levels are warmly welcomed.

a note from Emilie
"I created Elumi Yoga because I know what it feels like to spend years moving from one responsibility to the next. Sometimes, the most valuable thing we can give ourselves is the space to pause."

Emilie's philosophy

Seven quiet principles.

  1. 01Yoga should feel welcoming, not intimidating.
  2. 02Rest should not need to be earned.
  3. 03Retreats should combine structure with freedom.
  4. 04Wellness should be realistic and enjoyable.
  5. 05Women should feel able to attend alone.
  6. 06Connection is as important as the yoga itself.
  7. 07Luxury means comfort, time, care and attention rather than excess.
